Beginner Lampworking Mushroom Pendant

Join us for a night of unlimited possibility, creativity, and collaboration. Our workshop is hosting an afternoon glass working session that is sure to blow your mind!

• Skill Level: Beginner.

• Description: Learn the tools, Do’s & Don’ts, and the safety rules of working with borosilicate glass. After the brief instructions students will learn the process of making a mushroom pendant .

• Students will learn: The basic motor skills of the art of glassblowing. Knowledge of the art, how to put a mushroom into a teardrop all with the use of borosilicate glass.

• Cost: $50

• Teacher:  Chris Bonner, a local artisan with 20 years glass experience.

• Date: January 7, 2018 12pm - 2pm.

• Location: Ideaworks Fresno - 1742 H Street, Fresno, CA 93721 .

Students should not wear any clothing that is synthetic, such as nylon or polyester. Also no open toed shoes like flip-flops or sandals.

Regular membership is $40 per month and 50% off regular membership ($20 per month) for students, seniors, out of area, military – active, reserve or veteran. Current members of Ideaworks Makerspaces are not eligible for this promotion. This offer cannot be combined with any other offer.    

CANCELLATION, CHANGE, AND REFUND POLICY

This is a high demand event with limited spaces available. A request of cancellation must be received by email to classes@fresnoideaworks.org 72 Hours prior to the event date to be eligible for a refund. Please note, a $15.00 processing fee will be assessed per cancellation from the total refund.
Regretfully, we are unable to issue refunds and/or credit for a missed class. However, in some circumstances at the discretion of the instructor and management, pending availability, a credit may be given towards future sessions with special circumstances. 
In the case Ideaworks must cancel a class, full registration fees based on the original form payment was made will be refunded.
